My name is Rachel Dilger and I am a current sophomore at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove PA. I am pursing both a Communications and a Publishing+Editing degree while also minoring in Political Science and Professional and Civic Writing. My end goal is to be a technical writer and work remotely/freelance. I also plan on getting involved with the satirical newspaper here on campus, “The Squirrel”.

Some of my hobbies include curling up with a good book, going to the gym, surfing, and hanging out with my friends and family. At school I recently rescued a 2 month kitten named Bean and have been figuring out how to balance my double majors and double minors with adopting a cat. I am a huge fan of the Oxford comma and brought more books to school than I would care to admit lol.

My proudest accomplishmet so far in college has been starting a small press called Patchwork Press. It is a real small press that I created in conjuction with my fellow classmates in which we published two chapbooks in May of 2024, “The Priest and the Canary” and “Annihalation and Other Recipies with Oranges”. They are both collections of poetry bookended by prose and I was the copyeditor of the later chapbook by Jake Price.
